Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose, repair, and maintain RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will handle a range of tasks from diagnostics to hands-on repairs and will be encouraged to obtain RVIA certification.

Candidates should be self-motivated with strong attention to detail. The role involves lifting, climbing, and working with heavy equipment in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but relevant work experience will be considered
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
