Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team in Illinois. The role covers RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs, with focus on mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems.

The position supports advancement and may include certification paid by the company. The candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance while documenting parts usage and progress.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but applicable work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related field preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor informed of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
