Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) in Florida to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach body components. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostic skills, mechanical and electrical know-how, and attention to detail in a fast-paced service environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year service tech experience, RV or trade certifications are helpful, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site position with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but work experience also considered
• Minimum 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
• Possible exposure to heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness during work
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
• Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
