Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) in Island Lake, IL to diagnose and repair RV systems, generators, and coach components. The role emphasizes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and maintenance tasks with attention to detail and self-motivation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in service tech, are willing to certify or train, and can lift up to 50 lbs. The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but work experience counts
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
