Job summary

Bar Run Golf + RV Resort in Roseburg, Oregon, is part of Columbia Hospitality and seeks an operations-focused professional to lead reservations, housekeeping, outdoors services and recreation. You’ll recruit, onboard, train and schedule departments, ensure coverage, and handle guest coordination across lodging, dining and activities.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of operations experience, strong communication, and solid knowledge of POS and hotel systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience managing operations (hospitality)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong working knowledge of hotel front office, housekeeping operations and accounting procedures
• Strong working knowledge of the hotel’s property management and POS systems
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Financial management skills, including budget management, expense control and analysis of Profit and Loss statements
• Strong people management skills, including coaching, motivating, delegating, scheduling and relationship-building

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the reservations, housekeeping, outsides services, and recreation department.
• Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training and scheduling applicable departments.
• Ensures adequate coverage during all operating hours.
• Operates the PBX equipment by answering incoming calls, assisting outgoing calls, scheduling and setting wake-up calls and paging guests in accordance with established standards.
• Responds to inquiries and assists guests in making reservations for all facets of the operation, including lodging, dining, recreation, etc.
• Assists the Sales and Marketing Team by entering group bookings and VIP reservations.
• Receives sorts and distributes guest mail, messages and faxes.
• Maintains confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Keeps accurate and complete records of reservations, messages and other required information.
• Assists fellow team members when possible and appropriate.
• Brings the department's shift to a sense of finality.
• Adjusts rate specials and discrepancies
