Job summary

Umpqua Indian Development Corporation (UIDC) is seeking an Operations Manager for the RV Resort in Oregon. The role includes daily operations oversight of Front Desk, Guest Service, Custodial, and Maintenance teams, with a focus on delivering exemplary guest service and safety.

You will assist the Resort Manager, supervise staff, and manage schedules, registrations, and vendor payments. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years of resort management experience are required; RV resort experience is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of resort management experience.
• RV resort experience preferred.
• Analytical/mathematics skills essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Excellent guest service approach in dealing with guests.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong clerical experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to handle guest disputes.
• Current and valid Oregon Driver's License with the ability to qualify for UIDC’s Drivers Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist RV Resort Manager in daily operations.
• Uphold the RV Resort’s commitment to exemplary guest service.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are understood and followed.
• Oversee guest registration, fee collection, purchasing and accounting for RV Resort.
• Interview, selects, trains and supervises RV Resort staff.
• Create weekly schedule for RV Resort staff ensuring adequate coverage.
• Receives vendor invoices, verifies information and processes for payment.
