Job summary

Umpqua Indian Development Corporation (UIDC) seeks a Resort Operations Lead to oversee daily functions at our RV Resort. You will manage front desk, guest services, custodial and maintenance staff while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations.

The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to train and supervise teams, and a focus on safety and service. Oregon residency or eligibility and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• 2 years of previous experience in Resort management.
• RV Resort experience preferred.
• Analytical/mathematics skills essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Excellent guest service approach in dealing with guests.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong clerical experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to handle guest disputes.
• Current and valid Oregon Drivers License with the ability to qualify for UIDC’s Drivers Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist RV Resort Manager in daily operations.
• Ensure and uphold the RV Resort commitment to provide exemplary guest service.
• Ensure safety, understand emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
• Oversee guest registration, fee collection, purchasing and accounting for RV Resort.
• Interview, select, train and supervise RV Resort staff.
• Create weekly schedule for RV Resort staff ensuring adequate coverage.
• Receive vendor invoices, verify information and process for payment.

The Position
