Qualifications

• Background in Industrial Design or Engineering or equivalent product development experience.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• UX design training or hands-on prototyping skills.
• Product management training or experience.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Desire to use RVs to gain hands-on knowledge.
• Familiarity with RV systems (electricity, water, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead front end efforts using the NPD process to develop features and floorplans that meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Lead new product mockups and floorplan development.
• Identify unmet customer needs through VOC research using industry best practices.
• Propose new product ideas and designs to the product manager based on VOC findings.
• Assist product manager with lifecycle management of assigned products.
• Create and maintain accurate product plans for assigned products.
• Develop expert understanding of owners and usage patterns of the product class.
• Apply UX design principles and rapid prototyping to drive innovation.
• Validate designs through internal/external UX, VOC, and testing.
• Provide updates and recommendations for Multigenerational Product Plan (MGPP).
• Analyze, forecast, and report on assigned industry segments.
• Participate in warranty and cost-reduction initiatives for assigned products.
• Develop competitive knowledge of market conditions and competitors.
• Support sales/training with competitive comparisons and product materials, including at RV shows.
• Provide product information for marketing, retail inquiries, and owner relations.
• Other duties as needed.
