Bish’s RV, Inc. is hiring a Parts Outfitter Associate in Traverse City to support customers, technicians, and internal teams by sourcing, organizing, and distributing RV parts and accessories. You will help ensure the right parts are available for service and customer orders, managing stock and processing orders.

The role emphasizes knowledge of RV parts, strong customer service, and accurate inventory practices to maintain efficient operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
• Alignment with the company vision and values.
• Experience in RV parts, automotive parts, hardware retail, or similar environment (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of RV or vehicle systems.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and manage inventory in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with computers and parts-management software.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn technical RV components.
• Must lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at least two Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting RV parts and accessories.
• Support technicians by pulling requested parts and delivering to service bays.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts while maintaining inventory records.
• Organize shelves, storage areas, and displays for accessibility and cleanliness.
• Process customer orders in person, by phone, and online (quotes, invoices, returns).
• Maintain knowledge of RV brands, systems, and common components.
• Communicate with vendors about availability, pricing, or special orders.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide recommendations on accessories, upgrades, and add-on products to enhance sales.
