Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV systems, generators, and coach components. You will document tests, parts, and repairs while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical maintenance, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications; a valid driver’s license is preferred and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but experience matters.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Possible exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
