Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Lot Porter to join our growing team. You’ll park and move RV units, monitor and install window pricing, and keep the lot clean and professional while ensuring units are secure.

This role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate yard tractors, forklifts, and RVs. We provide training and benefits; Camping World is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Towing experience preferred.
• Ability to use yard tractor and/or forklift.
• Ability to drive an RV.
• Experience using generators and operating slide-outs.
• Ability to repair small items and identify problem units.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.

Responsibilities

• Park and move RV units promptly.
• Ensure RV window prices are installed/removed as directed.
• Maintain weekly lot washes; keep units and aisles clean.
• Write work orders; track issues and ensure units work.
• Sweep, collect trash; keep lot clean and professional.
• Secure units and equipment from weather.
• Maintain weekly physical inventory.
• Verify slide-outs, jacks, steps, awnings, and doors.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area for customers and coworkers.
