Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Lot Porter to support our first class service team. You will park and move RV units, confirm window pricing, and maintain a tidy, safe lot while keeping inventory current. You will also handle basic repairs and operate equipment like yard tractors or forklifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, RV driving ability, towing experience, and a valid driver’s license. You may lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Towing experience preferred.
• Ability to use yard tractor and/or forklift.
• Ability to drive an RV.
• Experience using generators and operating slide-outs.
• Ability to repair small items and identify problem units.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Park and move RV units in a timely fashion.
• Ensure window prices on RVs are installed and removed as instructed.
• Maintain weekly lot washes and keep units and isles clean.
• Write work orders, track problems and ensure units are in proper working order.
• Sweep, pick up trash and debris; keep lot clean and professional in appearance.
• Keep units and equipment secure from weather.
• Maintain physical inventory on a weekly basis.
• Ensure slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened and doors unlocked.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
