Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Lot Porter to provide driving and support services as part of our first class service team. You’ll park and move RV units, manage price displays, and maintain a clean, safe lot with weekly washes.

You will write work orders, track issues, and ensure units are operational and secure from weather. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, RV/towing experience, and a valid driver’s license, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with help.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience driving RVs and towing preferred.
• Ability to operate yard tractor and forklift.
• Experience with generators and RV slide-outs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistive devices; may lift 25 lbs unaided.

Responsibilities

• Park and move RV units in a timely fashion.
• Ensures window prices on RVs are installed and removed as instructed.
• Maintains weekly lot washes and keeps units and aisles clean.
• Writes work orders, tracks problems and ensures units are in proper working order.
• Sweeps, picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans and keeps lot professional.
• Maintains units and equipment secure from weather.
• Maintains weekly physical inventory.
• Ensures slide-outs are in, jacks down, steps down, awnings opened and doors unlocked.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
