Job summary

Turing is seeking a Software Engineering evaluator to create datasets for training and benchmarking frontier AI models. You will curate code examples and solutions primarily in Rust, and also in Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), C/C++, Java, and Go.

You will assess AI-generated code for efficiency and reliability while collaborating with researchers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include building verification mechanisms, identifying error patterns, and shaping evaluation rationales

Qualifications

• Several years of software engineering experience (3 years or more).
• Strong expertise in building full-stack applications and deploying scalable, production-grade software using modern languages and tools.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code quality/review assessment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear, structured evaluation rationales.

Responsibilities

• Curate cutting-edge datasets for training and benchmarking AI models, focusing on code examples and precise solutions.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to enhance enterprise AI-driven coding solutions.
• Build agents to verify code quality and identify error patterns.
• Hypothesize steps in the software engineering cycle and evaluate model capabilities against them.
