fab2 is building a fast, browser-based, multiplayer platform for chip design, targeting end-to-end workflow from schematic to fabrication. You will work on a Rust-led stack, own major features, and help design intuitive tools that replace aging software.

Qualifications

• Strong Rust, or serious C++/systems experience and curiosity to go deep in Rust.
• Solid systems fundamentals: memory, performance, concurrency; can optimize after profiling.
• Track record of non-trivial software built from scratch with end-to-end walkthrough.

Responsibilities

• Own major features from design through shipping across the full stack.
• Develop deeply interactive, low-latency editing tools with explainable behavior.
• Implement real-time collaborative document model and a high-bandwidth sync engine.
• Build a GPU canvas in Rust capable of rendering millions of polygons smoothly.
• Support simulation features with responsive frontend feedback.
