Job summary

Carv is building real-time coaching software for skiers, blending AI, biomechanics, and sensor data. We are seeking a product-minded Rust Engineer to own the core codebase for Android, iOS, and backend infrastructure, collaborating with designers, PMs, and athletes to push the boundaries of digital sports training.

Join a small, autonomous team that values action, impact, and continuous learning, with relocation support to Innsbruck and a 3-day-per-week in-office schedule on average.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with Rust/go/C++ or similar languages in production.
• Track-record of excelling in a small-team environment, startup experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Rust codebase from architecture to implementation.
• Maintain and scale our infrastructure on Google Cloud.
• Work closely with designers, product managers and skiers to build category defining coaching experiences.
• Implement real-time coaching features powered by AI and sensor data, and test these on the ski slope.
• Stay on top of industry trends and Rust advancements and adopt the latest best practices.
