Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Encryption team in Camden, NJ on-site. You will translate requirements into robust Rust/C/C++/Python software for embedded real-time systems, contribute to encryption product development, and participate in all SDLC phases on a Scrum team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and at least 1 year writing Rust for production systems. US security clearance or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience developing Rust software for production systems.
• At least 1 year of experience with software design and development using C/C++ and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex software issues, and implement solutions, independently or with a cross-functional team.
• Apply CS, engineering, and mathematical analysis to software for target hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware/software interfaces and performance requirements across the system.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
• Develop software test plans and documentation.
