Job summary

L3Harris Integrated Systems & Encryption division seeks a Software Engineer to translate requirements into robust Rust/C/C++ software for high-assurance encryption systems. You will work on a Scrum team, implement software across the lifecycle, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks.

Ideal candidates have Rust experience for production systems, familiarity with embedded RTOS, and a willingness to travel ~10% while pursuing a US government secret clearance. Camden, NJ on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience developing Rust software for production systems.
• At least 1 year of experience with C/C++ programming languages and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex software issues, independently or with a multi-discipline team.
• Apply CS, engineering and math concepts to software for target hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces between hardware and software.
