Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Software Engineer for encryption systems in Camden, NJ. You will translate requirements into robust Rust/C++/Python solutions, contribute across the full SDLC, and work on embedded real-time software within a Scrum team. Travel approx. 10% and security clearanceability are required.

Preferred candidates have a Master’s or security‑clearance exposure, experience with embedded software and cryptography, and a strong foundation in software modeling and interfaces with hardware.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
1+ year of experience developing Rust software for production systems.
At least 1 year of experience with C/C++ programming and OO design.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot complex software issues and implement solutions.
Translate requirements into maintainable software for encryption products.
Work on a Scrum team and help define direction for product and infrastructure development.
Develop software tests, documentation, and interfaces between hardware and software.
