Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking a backend engineer to design and develop high-performance systems in Rust for data acquisition, building robust interfaces for internal teams and AI agents. You will be part of the Crawler Engineering team enabling reliable, scalable data pipelines.

You will help handle ~200 million requests daily across 200+ data sources, tackle crawler challenges, and own code quality, tests, observability, and maintainability. This role focuses on hotel data quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend systems in Rust for data acquisition.

• Investigate hard crawler problems and test alternative approaches.
