Job summary

Realtruck, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Janitor to clean and stock designated areas across multiple facilities while adhering to health and safety standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The position requires early morning or late night availability, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a focus on maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in designated areas.
• Clean offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas; dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, wash surfaces, and empty trash.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms and areas.
• Perform routine cleaning inspections and document results.
• Support heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed.
• Report defects, repairs, or supply needs to management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and stocking designated building areas at multiple facilities, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment. Address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor
• Clean designated building areas including, but not limited to offices, break rooms, restrooms, common areas, supply rooms, and storage areas
  • Cleaning tasks include dust, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, windows, garbage, washing surfaces and appliances
• Stock and maintain supply rooms and areas
• Perform and document routine inspection and cleaning checklist
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of any defects, needed repairs, or supply requests
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Utilize Lean manufacturing tools to deliver results and organize materials according to 6S standards
• Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
• 6 months of previous janitorial experience preferred

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position is subject to Medium Work: exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Physical Activities

• Climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity

• Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects or parts; using measurement devices; and/or assembling parts at close distances.

Working Conditions

• Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
