Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. seeks experienced technicians to join Rush Truck Centers, the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America. As a Rush Technician, you’ll service trucks and equipment across multiple shifts and locations in the United States.

You’ll perform major repairs, adhere to safety standards, and participate in ongoing training with OEM equipment. A valid driver's license and relevant ASE certifications are preferred for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• Must possess a valid driver license with insurability as per company guidelines.
• ASE, Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures.
• Examine safety devices and ensure proper functioning.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify repairs.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
