Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is hiring a Rush Technician to provide technical service to vehicles and equipment across our network of dealerships. You will perform general and detailed repairs on trucks, engines and components, and overhaul gas or diesel engines.

You will also install components, read job orders, and ensure safety standards while maintaining positive relationships with customers and completing training to stay current with OEM equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, and transmissions.
