Job summary

InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible, full-time Traveling Physical Therapist to join our team. This role suits someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering patient-centered care to rural communities.

The successful candidate will work across multiple states, hold a DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy, and be willing to travel. We offer competitive wages, housing stipend, CEU allowance, paid time off, and mentorship in a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
• Current PT license (or eligibility) in at least one state we serve; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Strong adaptability and comfort working in diverse clinical environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Interest in rural healthcare and supporting rehabilitation teams across multiple communities.
• Willingness to travel and complete short-term assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PT services across various rural healthcare settings.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families on safety, home programs, and strategies for long-term wellness.
• Adapt smoothly to new work environments, teams, and patient populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, effective care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
