Job summary

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license; Alaska licensure within 1 year of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP/ALSO/TNCC/ENPC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' clinical experience across multiple units preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Proficient with EHR and accurate documentation; strong communication skills.
• Understanding rural healthcare challenges and broad clinical versatility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate comprehensive nursing care across units.
• Assess, prioritize, and initiate interventions based on patient needs.
• Administer medications safely and monitor for adverse effects.
• Maintain accurate EHR and documentation standards.
• Exhibit cultural competence and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned and lead nursing staff.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement infection control measures and participate in quality monitoring.
• Perform medevac escort duties and manage related documentation.
