SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across the lifespan in alignment with organizational standards. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote safety, patient experience, and outcomes.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with organizational standards, policies, and evidence-based practice. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered services. The RN collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes, safety, and positive patient experience.
Pay Range: $41.66 - $58.69. Sign‑on bonus up to $25K and relocation up to $10K for qualified hire.
Holiday Hours: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Medicating Hours: Mon – Fri: 6 a.m. – 11 a.m; Sat.: 7 – 10 a.m; Sun.: Closed
Admission Hours: Mon – Thur: 7 – 10 a.m. (or as scheduled), Closed: Fri. – Sun.
Provides OTP medication and nursing services in collaboration with providers, clinic staff, and leadership to ensure high-quality care, efficient resource utilization, and compliance. Maintains medication inventory and supplies not managed through the Warehouse PAR system and ensures completion of required quality control checks for point-of-care testing. Documents all patient care and clinical services in accordance with professional nursing standards. Manages daily medication room clinic opening and closing. Communicates effectively with other departments to serve as a reliable resource for patients, providers, and clinic staff.
Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. Facilitates referrals, follow‑up care, and continuity of services. Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Advocates for patient care and assists patients in navigating the healthcare system.
Participates in quality and performance improvement activities. Maintains required competencies and certifications. Reports adverse events, near misses, and unsafe conditions per policy.
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and teamwork. Provides appropriate guidance and delegation to ancillary staff. Supports orientation, mentoring, and education of staff, students, and peers. Floats to other departments or assignments as needed.
