Soap Creek Resources in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our supportive Critical Access Hospital team. You will lead psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans, and collaborate with primary care and behavioral health colleagues to provide comprehensive, whole-patient care.

The position offers full-time hours, four 10-hour days, day shift, and relocation assistance; compensation ranges from $350,000 to $385,000+ per year plus benefits and CME support.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited school.
• ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency completed.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Psychiatry.
• Commitment to high-quality, community-focused care.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for diverse rural patients.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor progress for efficacy and safety.
• Collaborate with Primary Care and Behavioral Health teams to provide holistic care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and contribute to clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely charting and documentation.
• Provide psychiatric consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center as needed.
• Engage in community initiatives to reduce stigma and improve access to care.
