Job summary

Arcare seeks a compassionate Physician to join our dedicated medical provider team in Arkansas. You will diagnose and treat illnesses, provide high-quality medical services, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Arkansas, has MD/DO credentials, and values patient-centered care within a team-based environment. Experience is preferred, and CPR certification is required within employment timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
• Current medical license in Arkansas.
• Experience as a physician preferred.
• CPR certification required upon employment or within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Order, perform, and interpret medical tests, and analyze records and reports to diagnose patient conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, examination results, and treatment plans.
• Explain medical procedures, test results, and treatments to patients and their families.
• Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare practitioners when needed.
• Coordinate and direct activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
