Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current medical license in Arkansas.
• Experience as a physician preferred.
• CPR certification required within 3 months of employment.
• Must reside in the service area.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care.
• Order, perform, and interpret tests and interpret records to diagnose conditions.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Explain procedures, results and treatments to patients and families.
• Advise on diet, activity, hygiene, and prevention.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Coordinate activities of nurses and other staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
