Job summary

InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible Physical Therapist Assistant to join the team at Harlan County Health System in Alma, Nebraska. This role offers full-time or part-time hours in a rural setting with patient-centered care at the core.

You will deliver therapy services under a PT, help implement plans, and educate families while collaborating with a supportive rehabilitation network. New grads are welcome with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Nebraska PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Interest in rural healthcare and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist in development and implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Document patient progress and maintain clinical records.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety and recovery strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with therapy team and other healthcare staff for coordinated care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
