Job summary

Florida State University seeks to strengthen community outreach through the Stoops Center for Communities, Families, and Children. The role develops and implements ROTA outreach strategies, building relationships with community, faith-based organizations, and stakeholders across the Southeast region.

The position involves travel to engage rural communities, promote resources, and coordinate ambassador programs and traveling library outreach efforts for statewide impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years' experience related to administrative services.
• Or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience.
• Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements ROTA outreach strategies to engage rural communities throughout Southeast Region.
• Builds relationships with community- and faith-based organizations, recovery groups, consumers, family members, and other stakeholders.
• Travels throughout Southeast Region to support community engagement, partner meetings, outreach activities, and events.
• Provides outreach communications and resource promotion support for Stoops CFC Center programs and initiatives as assigned.
• Coordinates ROTA community outreach, recruitment, application activities, onboarding, engagement, and ongoing communication for the State Ambassador Program.
• Maintains relationships with ambassadors and supports their participation in project outreach activities.
