Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an OR Circulating Registered Nurse to support a small community hospital in rural New England. Responsibilities span preoperative assessments, intraoperative circulating duties, and PACU care with emphasis on safe, patient-centered perioperative services.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; CNOR is preferred to enhance perioperative expertise within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing degree required.
• Active RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments, verify consent and correct surgical site, and coordinate time-outs.
• Perform intraoperative circulating duties and maintain sterile technique; manage specimens and implants.
• Support PACU with airway/vital signs monitoring, pain/nausea management, and discharge education.
• Participate in emergency response, quality improvement, and on-call coverage.
