Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an OR Circulating Registered Nurse with PACU responsibilities to join a nonprofit rural hospital in New England. This role includes preoperative assessment, intraoperative circulating duties, and post-anesthesia recovery with patient education.

You will work with a supportive team in a small community setting with modern operating rooms, CNOR preferred, and opportunities for ongoing professional development and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required or preferred.
• CNOR and prior OR or PACU experience are preferred.
• Strong commitment to perioperative patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessments and coordinate time-outs; verify consent and surgical sites.
• Carry out intraoperative circulating duties and monitor sterile technique.
• Support post-anesthesia recovery, manage pain and education for discharge readiness.
• Assist in emergency response, quality improvement, and call coverage as needed.
