Job summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) invites applications for the NKFND Program Coordinator in Kearney, NE. This role supports the Nebraska Kids Fitness and Nutrition program by coordinating materials, trainings, meetings, and travel across rural Nebraska.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, partner coordination, and assisting with educational materials deployment. Requires an Associate's degree and 4 years of coordination experience; travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Exercise Science, Public Health, or related field; six years education/experience considered.
• 4 years of project/program coordination, community outreach, and/or workforce development experience; six years considered.

Responsibilities

• Development of supplies, ordering, organization, and delivery of materials to communities.
• Recruiting and training communities; travel throughout greater Nebraska.
• Coordinating and organizing training materials, equipment, renting space, processing reimbursements, and other tasks.
• Coordinate and organize weekly meetings, manage meeting minutes, timelines, ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist with development of educational materials and proper implementation beyond events.
• Track budgetary expenses with Dr. Heelan and team.
