Job summary

Michigan Primary Care Association in Lansing seeks a Rural Health Transformation Program Specialist to support MPCA and its FQHC members in data/interoperability, behavioral health, and workforce initiatives. You will act as a trusted resource across programs, coordinating activities and ensuring timely deliverables.

This full-time, benefits-eligible role is grant-funded through September 30, 2027, with potential for continuation. Starting pay is $30.27 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Michigan rural health needs.
  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant training or experience.
  • Experience in administration, organization, communication, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates the three Rural Health Transformation programs, including project planning, deliverable tracking, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and program administration.
  • Develops surveys for health center applications and progress reports.
  • Completes and submits contractual, compliance, and progress reporting requirements to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on time.
  • Coordinates payment processes and invoice development.
  • Supports the Rural Health Transformation community through Higher Logic, MPCA newsletters, email, and other communication channels.
  • Responds to health center questions and coordinate with colleagues to provide timely information and support.
  • Identifies technical assistance needs among participating health centers and help coordinate appropriate resources.
  • Provides internal coordination between all Rural Health Transformation projects.
