Job summary

The State of Wyoming, Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) PMO seeks a Senior Business Project Management Analyst to oversee the full lifecycle of technology and health system initiatives under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). You will drive project execution, analyze business processes, and coordinate with CMS, providers, and vendors to expand rural health access.

Reporting to the Contracts and Planning Manager, you will plan, test, and manage contracts, supporting enterprise IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Computer Technology, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP or business analysis certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or system implementation in healthcare/public sector.
• Experience applying both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-visibility IT and care-delivery projects under the RHTP portfolio.
• Coordinate with agency executives, CMS partners, regional providers, and external vendors.
• Plan, schedule, track, and report project timelines, resources, milestones, and grant budgets.
• Identify risks, document mitigation strategies, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Establish artifacts like resource plans, status reports, and process flows.
• Evaluate operational efficiency and analyze user workflows to support long-term rural health transformation.
