Qualifications

• Program evaluation experience (Required).
• Quality assurance experience (Required).
• Grant oversight/administration experience (Required).
• Data analysis experience (Required).
• Data management experience (Required).
• Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations (Required).
• Financial analysis and grant accounting fundamentals (Required).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (Required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required).
• Public health background (Highly Desired).
• Experience with CMS-funded programs or federal cooperative agreements (Highly Desired).
• Familiarity with Indiana rural healthcare organizations (Highly Desired).

Responsibilities

• Implement risk-based monitoring for sub-awardees.
• Conduct desk, virtual, and on-site reviews.
• Analyze financial docs to verify allowable costs and risks.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and records.
• Track corrective action plans and resolutions.
• Assist with audit preparation and responses.
• Monitor sub-award spending and financial activity.
• Review financial information using PeopleSoft Financials.
• Prepare reports and grant compliance reconciliations.
• Serve as finance/administrative resource to leadership.
• Identify fiscal concerns and recommend actions.
• Review sub-awardee data for program performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends and risks.
• Support data integrity and grant reporting requirements.
• Contribute to monitoring tools, templates, and process improvements.
• Provide technical assistance on grant administration and reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve monitoring issues.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Support capacity-building among organizations.
