Job summary

Androscoggin Valley Hospital, part of North Country Healthcare, is seeking a full-time board-certified General Surgeon to join a part-time team in Berlin, NH. The role includes broad rural practice, open and laparoscopic surgery, and collaboration with a small hospital and affiliated clinics.

The position offers a 4.0 or 4.5 day work week, on-call rotation, and generous benefits including CME funds, vacation, sick days, and multiple bonuses. Licensure in NH and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active NH medical license or ability to obtain license.
• Board certification in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery).
• Experience in a hospital and clinic setting; broad general surgery skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide office-based general surgery services to patients of all ages.
• Perform minor procedures and endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinate with PCPs and other specialists; order diagnostics and referrals.
• Communicate with medical staff and patients; maintain patient satisfaction.
