Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH seeks a full-time board-certified General Surgeon to join a part-time general surgeon, physician assistant, and per diem team within North Country Healthcare. The role offers a broad rural surgery scope, including office-based care, minor procedures, and open, laparoscopic, and endoscopic operations.

The physician should hold an active NH medical license, be board-certified, and bring experience from hospital and clinic settings with excellent patient

Qualifications

• Board-certified surgeon with full licensure to practice in New Hampshire.
• MD from an accredited program and completed NH-residency requirements.
• Certified by the American Board of Surgery; prescriptive privileges and DEA number.
• Extensive experience in hospital and clinic settings with modern surgical knowledge.
• Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and patient communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide office-based general surgery services for patients of all ages.
• Perform minor procedures and provide patient education and counseling.
• Order diagnostic tests and coordinate referrals to related specialties.
• Communicate with primary care providers and care teams.
• Provide operative care (open, laparoscopic) and endoscopic procedures.
