Job summary

Norton County Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN) to join our medical staff at Norton Medical Clinic. You will deliver comprehensive family medicine and primary care to patients of all ages and participate in ER on-call rotations in a rural setting.

Qualifications

• Current PA-C or APRN certification and licensure appropriate for practice in Kansas
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate Kansas licensure and hospital privileges
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Interest in serving patients and families in a rural community

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients of all ages
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
• Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with patients and families
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Developing treatment plans and coordinating patient care
• Providing patient education and preventive healthcare
• Participating in Emergency Room on-call rotations
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Participating in the medical staff activities of Norton County Hospital
