Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking clinicians to join our team that have the desire, drive, and dedication to assist AMC in providing great care to the communities we serve.

The Clinic Advanced Practitioner (APP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) who serves as primary provider in a Rural Health Clinic setting, caring for patients of all ages including pediatric and seniors.

Qualifications

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and patient counseling.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Refer patients to specialists and follow up on consults as appropriate.
