Job summary

Kaniksu Community Health in north Idaho seeks a Clinic Administrator to lead daily operations for high-quality, patient-centered care. You will manage workflows, budgets, dashboards and multi-service visits, ensuring safety, compliance and effective collaboration among staff.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare operations experience, and a dedication to a community-focused PCMH environment. On-site work in Bonners Ferry/Priest River with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or related field; equivalency considered.
• 5+ years leadership/management in healthcare (FQHC/rural clinic preferred).
• Experience with change management or building systems from scratch.
• Understanding of front and back-office clinic operations.
• Calm, organized, people-centered leadership with strong decision skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day clinic operations to ensure high-quality, integrated care and strong patient experience.
• Oversee workflows, systems and resources for efficiency and compliance; fix operational gaps.
• Own clinic P&L; assist budgeting and financial performance with COO.
• Develop daily/weekly/monthly strategies to improve access and productivity; run reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate provider templates and integration for multi-service visits.
• Manage space, supplies, and vendor relationships; ensure vaccine inventory and safety checks.
• Lead safety drills, incident management, and risk reporting; coordinate weather closures and staffing.
