Alaska Eating Disorders Alliance in Alaska is seeking a Rural Community Outreach Coordinator to expand awareness, education, and access in geographically isolated areas. You will build partnerships with schools, tribal partners, and community contacts while coordinating outreach activities and maintaining records.

The role emphasizes independent work within a small team, with data collection and event coordination across rural partnerships.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working in or with rural Alaska communities (candidates based in rural Alaska are encouraged to apply) and knowledge of Alaska’s cultures
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working across multiple program areas and with diverse community partners
• Experience with data entry, program coordination, or community outreach
• Comfort with Google Workspace and other common collaborative work tools

Responsabilidades

• Identify and conduct community outreach across rural Alaska in coordination with program staff
• Support logistical coordination for rural training and education events
• Assist with participant recruitment and communications
• Collect project data per the data collection plan; maintain accurate records
• Serve as a liaison between AKEDA and rural community contacts, school districts, and tribal partners
• Contribute to progress reporting as assigned
• Take part in community outreach activities, communications and resource materials development, and AKEDA engagement events
