Moore County Hospital District in Dumas, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. You will provide direct patient care, monitor patient status, administer medications, and communicate changes to physicians and nurses to ensure timely interventions.

Requires Texas RN license or RN Compact, CPR certification, ALCS and TNCC/ENPC/PALS within first year, plus six months hospital experience preferred. Apply to join our award-winning team delivering exceptional rural care.

Qualifications

• Six months nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or RN Compact licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• ALCS Certification required or must be obtained within first year of employment.
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS required or obtained within first year.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory and/or accreditation standards.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care in the acute care departments.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition.
• Cross trained to perform general nursing duties in other departments and may be asked to do any reasonable job duty within scope of practice.
