Job summary

Moore County Hospital District in Dumas, TX, seeks an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner to join our fast-paced ED team. You will evaluate and treat patients with acute injuries and illnesses, work with physicians and nurses, and ensure timely disposition and follow-up.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of emergency medicine experience, an ARNP degree, and an unrestricted Texas license with a current DEA certificate. Excellent collaboration and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program with a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree.
• Unrestricted Texas license to practice as an NP.
• Current DEA certificate without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency care to ED patients.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document encounters accurately and ensure proper patient disposition.
