Job summary

Lineage is seeking a warehouse associate in California to operate pallet jack equipment, moving pallets between inbound/outbound areas while following safety policies. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 12pm to 5pm, with pay $19-$20 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include moving pallets to doors, putting away goods, inspecting items for damage, wrapping pallets, and using pallet inverters where required. Must lift at least 40 lbs and work in cold or warm storage conditions.

• Ability to understand instructions in English as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Use pallet jack to move pallets to scheduled shipping doors.
• Move pallets from inbound dock to warehouse locations for put-away.
• Identify requested products in work orders and place them accordingly.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped and moved safely through dock doors.

Job description

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship
• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away
• Find products requested in work orders
• Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor
• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location
• Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location
• May work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
