Job summary

LINEAGE LOGISTICS HOLDINGS, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Warehouse Associate to operate pallet jack equipment, move pallets to shipping doors, and place inbound pallets into storage areas. You will follow safety standards and company procedures to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in temperatures from -20°F/-25°C to 100°F/37°C in various storage environments while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexibility to work a shift and weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

• Move pallets to scheduled doors for shipping.

• Identify requested products from work orders.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages; report issues.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped before transport to dock doors.

Job description

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship
• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away
• Find products requested in work orders
• Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor
• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location
• Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location
• May work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility
• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
