Job summary

Lineage is seeking a warehouse associate to operate pallet jack equipment and move pallets between inbound docks and storage locations. The role requires identifying items from work orders, ensuring pallets are wrapped, and reporting damages promptly.

Candidates should be able to lift at least 40 lbs, work in cold or dry storage environments with PPE, and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed. Lineage emphasizes safety and efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility.
• Ability to understand instructions in official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20 Fahrenheit / -25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit / 37 Celsius in dry storage with PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs / 18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack to move pallets to scheduled doors for shipping.

• Change over pallets for picking and report damages to lead or supervisor.

Job description

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship
• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away
• Find products requested in work orders
• Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor
• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location
• Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location
• May work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
