Job summary

House of Sport by DICK'S Sporting Goods invites athletes to an experiential retail destination where experts perform gait analysis and tailor product recommendations to running goals.

As a run ambassador, you outfit athletes from head to toe, share running tips, and collaborate with teammates to deliver memorable service and reinforce our community presence, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail or footwear experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment of an athlete’s gait and recommends running products.
• Translates product technology to athlete needs and preferences.
• Ensures recommendations align with running goals.
• Provides runner-specific best practices and guidance (warm up, form, stretches).
• Fully outfits athletes with footwear and workout accessories from head to toe.
• Delivers a tailored consultative experience and adapts sales style.
• Shares running concepts and training materials with store teammates when appropriate.
• Maintains footwear department presentation and signage to company standards.
• Adheres to safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
• Supports the team across stores as needed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
