Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design rugged, high-performance electronics for defense applications, with emphasis on PCB layout and RF/antenna concepts. The role spans concept through production and sustainment, requiring hands-on capability and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Applicants must hold an active Secret clearance and US citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Oral and written communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts.
• Experience with analog/digital circuit design and embedded microcontroller design.
• Ability to model, analyze, and defend electrical designs and test results.
• Familiarity with RF circuit and antenna design is a plus.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and lead tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, test, and integrate custom embedded systems and communications capabilities.
• Develop rapid engineering solutions for emergent threats by turning requirements into designs.
• Complete design and development of electrical circuits, RF receivers, and compact antennas with minimal guidance.
• Lead developmental and verification testing, including EMI/environmental tests.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers to integrate designs into mechanical packages.
